Hanging felt vessel

I loved felting this bird nest.

But mostly I like making felt boxes, vessels, cases etc. where man can hide lovely treasures, hold necessary things or leave messages for someone.
So this nest is to work as such a helper in the abode.

It's quite big...

The beads are from a necklace of the 60-70s. Someone gave them to me, maybe I could use them instead of throwing away. Now I found a good place for them. That's also some kind of recycling...

It looks beautiful when the light shines through them.

I felted in silk fibres and pieces of a gift-ribbon.

My favorite color has been blue since I was a child. Different shades. In the last time I like to combine it with more green and warm yellow.

I will take it with me to a Christmas market in Germany and I hope it will find a new home.

Have a sunny day!

Gorgeous! I want some to hang in my garden. New birds are arriving every week. This morning, I even found a pheasant! x

@Jasmine
Also here more and more birds are searching for food in the garden. Some years agon 5 pheasants flew over our fence into the garden. But only one time. That looked good and it happend only once :-)

@Regina
I hope so :-) Otherwise I was thinking how I could make one like this which is big enough for me to sit in. But that would need more people to work on it. THat could be an eye catcher...
